My challenge at the Flying Unicorn forums!

I am hosting the THINK LIKE A CROW! challenge at the Flying Unicorn this month.  I do hope you'll make a shiny project and come join us at the Flying Unicorn.

It is said by some, that crows are attracted to shiny objects.  Most likely they are simply Investigating the object as a potential food source.  At any rate, it is time for us to act like  crows and collect lots of shiny objects!

You can make a card, tag, layout, ATC, arch, whatever you would like.  You simply must use 5 different kinds of shiny objects on your layout.  Each item must be different, meaning that any 3 metal flowers counts as 1 kind of shiny object. The flashier the better, I want to be bedazzled and blinded by all your shiny objects

Here are some shiny objects that you could collect, just to get you thinking, you can use any shiny objects!

Flying Unicorn Adornments - these are fabulous shiny objects!
Metallic ribbons and threads
Metallic rubons and rubz
Metallic colored paints i.e. Viva Gold, metallic water colors, acrylics,
Stickles
Aluminum foil
Metal tape
jewelry pieces
Bling
Embossing paste
Tim Holtz metals
7 Gypsies metals
metallic mists, ie Lindy's or Glimmer Mist

Here are my shiny objects:

1. Gold embossing paste -  In the background  useing Kaisercraft's wheat mask and Wendy Vecchi gold embossing paste

2. Metal flowers and butterflies - Flying Unicorn Adornments

3.  Silver leaves -  Embossed metal tape that I fussy cut.

4. Metallic fibers, trim and ribbons - gold braid, silver fiber ribbon, glittered ribbon, beaded and sequined lace under the flower

5.  Pearl flower center and detail on the butterfly

6. Black Diamond stickle accents on the flower

7.  Lindy's Glitz Spritz Blazin' Sun - probably can't see this but IRL this tag has a gold shine all over

 

 

THE RULES:

1.  The standard Flying Unicorn rules apply as posted in the challenges thread.

2.  You must list your your shiny objects when you post your entry in order to be eligible for the RAK.  DO NOT expect me to find them and count them for you. 

 

3.  The awesome RAK below will be awarded to one lucky winner selected at random.  You must email Alda your complete name and address within 7 days to claim your prize.  No exceptions, even if you buy from the store every week, please make it easy for Alda by sending you name and snail mail addy.

 

4.  You do NOT need to use a Flying Unicorn kit or things from the store to participate in the challenges at the Flying Unicorn, everyone is welcome to use their stash.
