Sizzix Chapter 1 Release and Eileen Hull Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Sizzix Chapter 1 Release Party

To celebrate, we're blog-hopping! Hop on over to Eileen's blog, for all the stops along the way. You don't want to miss any of the teams' inspiring projects! (All the blog stops are at the bottom of this post.)

Introducing the Ch. 1 2023 Eileen Hull/Sizzix collection!

ScoreBoards Plus Frame Pocket Journal: This is a Bigz Plus die so you will need a 9” wide cutting machine. The Journal measures 4 1/2” x 6 1/2” x 1 1/4” with an adjustable spine. What makes this die special are the additional pieces on the die, a pocket to hold ephemera, a frame and flap! These extra pieces may be used in many of my other journals or they can be used independently. The die may also be configured in a few different ways so watch the blog and Facebook live shows for ideas.

Thinlits Tile Alphanumeric Dies Set: The Tile Alphanumeric set is so versatile because you can use both the positive and negative shapes. Each letter is perforated which makes it easy to create and line up words.

Thinlits Library Pocket, ATC Card and Tabs Die Set: These are journal essentials! The library pocket is great for adding pockets to cards, journals and tags. Use the ATC card die to knock out a bunch of Artist Trading Card bases and add the library pocket to package it up to swap. The Tab die is perfect to add to the Journal pages or on the ATC.

3D Embossing Folder - Tablecloth: Eileen was inspired by a crocheted cotton piece she received from her Mom when she designed this. This embossed design will add beautiful texture and dimension to card backgrounds, book pages or tags!

Prizes!

Don't miss the giveaway! Make sure to watch our live on Facebook and/or YouTube. Comment in the chat and tell us what you would create with these dies, then you will be eligible to win a Chapter 1 die/embossing folder!

My Inspiration Projects

Journals

It's a cookbook with space for blank recipe cards.   All the dies in this release work so well together!  My other hobby is cooking so I love making cookbooks.  For the cover,   I used Alphanumeric letters for my "Recipe" title and the Label from the previously released XL Journal die. (Graphic 45 Farmhouse papers)

Inside, I used the Pocket from the Frame Pocket Journal Die to make a blank recipe card holder and fashioned a strap to keep the cards from falling out. (Graphic 45 Farmhouse papers)

Travel Memories Journal, really it could be any kind of journal but it has a loose travel time theme.  I love the combination of paper and lace on the front.  It gives is an old world vintage look.

Back and spine.  Join me next week for a closer look at this journal!

Cards

First up, a feminie birthday card featuring the Tablecloth embossed cardstock in the background and the library pocket to hold a secret message. (Graphic 45 Cafe Parisian papers)

Again, I used the Tablecloth embossing folder on the yellow cardstock background.  I used Eileen's birthday cake stamps and Snail Mail dies to make the stamp embellies.

And another card!  I adhered my greeting, cut with the Alphanumeric Die, to a yellow Tablecloth embossed strip. (Graphic 45 Let it Bee papers)

Library Pocket on the inside.

I know, another card!  That is so not like me!  I used Sizzix's wonderful cork paper to make the card base.  And yep, I used the Tablecloth embossing folder and letters cut with the Alphanumeric die.
