Blog Hopping with Petaloo and Graphic 45

I have a BIG secret to share and I am so thrilled.  Petaloo has asked me to design for them!!  Do you see that big, big smile on my face? I am over the moon excited, and, to be using Petaloo blooms and Graphic 45's Children's Hour for my first Petaloo DT post, wow, what a lucky gal I am!!

So, first I'd like to share a Valentine's card with you that has a pull out tag there on the left with a crocheted lace bow on it.  I started with a base card of cream cardstock and then added a layer of patterned paper from G45's June Montage sheet, next layer is the backside of an Ephemera card, then little cutouts from the G45 February collective sheet.  Then the fun part, nestling all the beautiful Petaloo blooms!  Two large Botanica blooms take center stage and they are nestled with some smaller Petaloos.  (Complete supply list at the end.)

Here' you can see the tag pulled out, I love the Petaloo crocheted lace, it tied into such a pretty little bow and matches so perfectly with the Graphic 45 papers.

Supplies:
Petaloo:

  February Collective
  June Montage
  Ephemera Cards
Darice Graphic 45 Signature Series Lights Precious Pink

I dedicate my next project to my parents who taught me everything good about Love.  They were married just one month shy of 72 years when my Dad passed.  In this photo, they were teenagers in love, isn't it great how Dad has on a tie?

I kinda went wild with the fussy cutting on this layout!  I cut flowers from Graphic 45's Children's Hour March, May and August Montage papers.   Then I popped some gorgeous Petaloo Botanica and Vintage Dogwoods onto the layout to give my field of flowers lots of dimension.  Petaloo and Graphic 45 just go so well together!

There's some crocheted lace trim peeking out there at the top.

 Supplies:

  March Montage
  May Montage
  August Montage
  Epehmera Cards
  Decorative Chipboard
  Alphabet Stickers

Other - Bazzill French Vanilla Cardstock

And finally, a Valentine's tag that I made from a Graphic 45 Staples Large Tag Album.  I trimmed around the tag and made a tie at the top from Petaloo's Fancy Trim.

In my scrappy world, nothing is complete until there are flowers blooming all over!  I've used some pretty Botanica and Chantilly blooms on this card.

This is a Creative Embellishments dangle heart that I heat embossed with Stampendous ivory embossing enamel.
