Hurray for spring! I love seeing everything in bloom this time of year. Eileen's team is celebrating with spring themed projects this month and of course, I've immersed in bright colors and flowers.
I used a small Tim Holtz Etcetera Tag although its not very small at 5.5" x 10"! It has lots of layers that I've popped up with cardboard pieces to give it lots of dimension.
The thing I love about Eileen's dies is that they work so well together with her many journal dies. But, did you know that they also work great on tags and journals? On this tag, in addition to the Mandala Die-cut you see peeking out on the left, I've also used the Mini-Book die released last month and the card die from the Starlit Village and Card Panel die set.
Left: Mini-Bok Die-cut; Right: Card Panel Die-cut
The Mini-Book die-cut is the green layer underneath the cream mat. I used 2 Card Panel die-cuts; on the left is the blue print layer and on the right, is the pink layer. Adding shaped die-cuts to your cards and tags always adds a special touch.
I love this tag, I'm going to add it to my rather large display of tags that I've made over the years. Something about tags draws me in. I don't find card making all that fun, I just love tags! This one was made with Graphic 45's Let's Get Artsy collection and I do love its bright colors!
