New month, new challenge at Creative Embellishments! I really love this month's inspiration photo, the colors are so great and there's a magical look to this photo. It inspired me to go with a Steampunk theme.
Back in April I was lucky enough to go on a cruise with the owners of Graphic 45 and a whole gang of G45 crafters. We had a blast and I made so many new friends one of whom is pictured on this layout. Kim has so much "joie de vivre" and its so apparent in her fabulous Steampunk costume that she pulled together for a Halloween party. Thank you Kim for allowing me to scrap this awesome photo of you!
Creative Embellishments has so many great steampunk chippies! In the upper right corner I've used a great top hat. Love those goggles and that feather is a perfect little accent. The hat is painted with a flat black acrylic paint and the googles and feather are misted with gold mist. All the gears I used are heat embossed with aged gold embossing enamel.
Isn't this G45 key just the coolest, it's from this year's Staples release.
The title and corner chippie are both heat embossed, again with aged gold. Yeah, I use that alot, it's my go to color for sure!
