On a happier note, we have a lovely new standard poodle puppy, Tisha, and she is helping Nika and my husband and I smile again. Stay tuned for lots of puppy layouts!
This is my favorite photo of Chena, it really captures the mischievious light in her eyes and the little girl look that always made me laugh. I miss you sweet girl.

Next is a layout done with Webster's Postcards from Paris II. I love the beautiful images and pretty colors of this paper line.
I thought the frame and roses printed on this paper were so pretty, so I decided to just use this one sheet of paper and add masking to embellish. I used two different Crafter's Workshop masks, screen and peacock feathers. The screen is masked with Distress Tea Dye and the feathers are masked with Viva Mother of Pearl cream paste.

Oh Maggi, I didn't realize you had lost Chena. I am so sad for you. It's especially tragic when she was doing so well after the pneumonia. What a wonderful gift you gave her, to let her pass with no more suffering, and this is such a beautiful tribute page to her. The new puppy is so lucky to get such a loving mom!
