Two special tags

Yesterday was baking day at my house and I made lots of cookies and butterscotch haystacks.   After I got finished with my baking, I made these two tags to accompany two batches of cookies that I delivered this morning to my veterinarian and her staff.  She is very special to me and has been through the death of two of my beloved poodles with me.  Her kindness and compassion has always touched my heart and so I like to say thanks in a special way.

Both of these tags were done with Graphic 45's Twelve Days of
Christmas.  This one has a Leaky Shed chipboard poodle that I've heat embossed with Ranger Antiquities embossing enamel in Weathered White.  It leaves a rough surface after heating and so it worked perfectly to mimic a poodle's curly coat.  The frame is a Sizzix diecut that I've sprinkled some Stampendous shabby green embossing enamel on to give it a snowy look.   The poinsettias are an older Petaloo vine, gosh I wish I had some more of these!!

Cottage Cutz made the die from which I cut this adorable poodle. LOL, when I showed this tag to my husband, he says "I've never seen a polka dotted poodle."  Men, engineers in particular, they are so literal!!!

The oval frame is a Spellbinder's frame and I used aged gold Stampendous embossing enamel around the edges on this one.  Hmm, can you tell, that is a favorite technique?  The pretty green ribbon is May Arts
