Let's make a Journal

I am kind of OCD when it comes to being organized so I wanted to make a journal to keep my scrappy world organized. I decided to use a 3-ring binder as it is so easy to add pages that I have printed to this type of journal. I purchased tabbed dividers just like we used in school to separate various categories. I have a tab for sketehes, ideas, shopping list (most important!), posting calendar. I also add notebook paper so that I can quickly jot things down as I think of them.
At this point I have only done the cover but I will eventually do a back as well as scrap each of the dividers. The notebook I bought has a plastic sleeve on the front and back so that I can easily slip my scrappy creation into it and have a pretty protected cover.

Here is the cover that I did using the Creative Imaginations IOD Devotion collection from the Flying Unicorn store. This is one of myd favorite collections, well yeah, it is red and black with ivory. The image I have used is a card (Anne Taintor Inc.) that I found when I was on a scrappy retreat with my best scrapping buddies in Ohio and I love the saying on her skirt, isn't that just too too funny? I picked up a few other equally amusing cards at the same time and will use those in my journal too.

I will work on the back cover next and I'll share that with you as soon as I get that completed.  Stay tuned as they say!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, I really appreciate it!  I hope that some of you will make a cool  scrappy journal like this and if you do, please leave me a link so I can see yours!
