April Creative Embellishments challenge

It's all about spring this month for the Creative Embellishments challenge.  Above is the inspiration photo and I took my inspiration from the word spring and the fuschia colors.

I created this layout of some pretty flowers at the Golden Gate Bridge park.  I am anxiously waiting that kind of weather!

In the corners I embellished with Photo or Page Corners Set 1. I used Ranger Antiquities Weathered White embossing powder to color the chipboard.  It has a rough texture that looks old and weathered.  Perfect for a shabby chic layout.

Underneath my flowers I used Vintage Flourish Set 3 colored with the same powder as the corner flourishes.

My pretty Petaloo blooms look so nice layered over the flourishes, I love this look.

Creative Embellishments now has stencils!

Did you know that Creative Embellishments now carries stencils?  Nope Tisha didn't walk across my layout ☺.  That's the new Muddy Paws mask stenciled onto  Petaloo burlap.  I love how it looks on the burlap and goes so well with my title of Paw Prints that are Creative Embellishments words heat embossed with Stampendous Aged Rose embossing enamel.

I used papers from two different Lemoncraft collections, House of roses and Never Ending Summer from the Flying Unicorn Store.  Their papers are so pretty and such a nice weight.  Keep an eye on the Flying Unicorn Store for their new collections.

  I stained a pretty flourish and used it underneath my Petaloo cluster.  I tucked in a couple of Conversation Hearts, aren't they so cute?
