One of my favorite Christmas lines is from Scrap Cake - Cozy Xmas. I just love the soft colors contrasted with the rich red. It is just my thing!! You can't see it so well on this picture but the leaf has a beautiful shimmer like icicles. First I stained the chipboard with Distress stain in picket fence. Then I added both crystal and icicle stickels on part of the leaves to imitate ice. IRL its really sparkly and icey looking. The DA nameplate is painted with white acryic paint and then edged wtih red Smooch.
Photographically speaking, this is not the best picture in the world, but I still love the big smiles on my parents' faces. The photo captured them soooo well, I really cherish this picture, even with its flaws. I kind of went crazy with the flowers!! They all came from the Flying Unicorn store!

ReplyDeleteMaggi, these are so lovely, I love this line of paper, it's so very different from what we normally see at this time of the year from major paper lines. Omgosh, I love your parents! I love their love story through you scrap pages you've share with us throughout the year. I bet you they have a novel just waiting to be written. I'd love to read it. :)
