Vintage and Shabby with Graphic 45

Alda is hosting a Shabby Shabby World challenge at the Flying Unicorn.  Take a look at her inspiration.  Alda does shabby chic like no one else that I know.  She made the below from a Cricut box!

I hope you'll come show us your shabby style!

I did this for inspiration.  I always start out on a shabby track but end up throwing in some black or something really bright.  I used Graphic 45 Ladies Diary for this.  I lightly brushed on some white gesso to tone down the black a bit and added some cheesecloth under the circle layer.

The birdcage is embossed with Stampendous Shabby Green embossing enamel.  Oh this is such a yummy color, I love it.  It  has some gold flecks in it that add perfectly to its shabby look!
