So....drumroll please!!

The Flying Unicorn is proud to present our newest KOM, The Coffee and Muse - May 2013 Mix Media kit.  Yipee!!!  This kit is so perfect for the mixed media storm that is hitting the scrapbook world, you seriously need to have this!  For May only, we are releasing the Mixed Media kit with the main May kit, however, in June, the Mixed Media kit will release on June 15th and will be separate from the main June kit released on May 31st.

Here are the Prima Art Journal covers I made using the Mixed Media kit.   I really love the resist words on the cover.  I used some Dylusions spray that is included in the kit and mist from the April KOM Embellishment add-on, Lindy's Winter Jasmine Gold.  The Kaisercraft stencil I used is in the kit along with lots of other goodies!   I added Flying Unicorn Metal Adornments from my stash and dabbled paint on them using acrylic paint from the kit and Viva Inka Gold from my stash.  I really love how this turned out!

On the back cover, I again used the Kaisercraft wheat stencil and then stamped with a foam dots stamps that is in the kit.

On this page I was just playing around with mists and masking.  For me an art journal page is all about experimenting so I use the pages to try out new techniques.

Here's a photo of the great prize I have to give away to some lucky participant in this blog hop!

Now you need to keep hopping if you want to see pictures of the Mixed Media kit and more inspiration from the other design team members!

Oh and one more thing, you need to write down my secret code word, you will need it for a chance to win the grand prize.  My secret code word is AWESOME.
