Studio 75 for sale at the Flying Unicorn Store!

We just got in some yummy yummy new paper from a new company in Poland, Studio 75.  We have 3 collections, Winter Time, Sweet Home and Summer and Latte.  The papers are really heavy weight and as such, are great for globbing on the mixed media as I did in the layout below.  I have used lots of Glimmer Snow and fiber paste on this layout!

One little tip I will pass on to you is that if you carefully heat the Glimmer Snow before it dries with your heat gun, it puffs up a little and takes on a more snowlike appearance.

  4. This is just outstanding. I'm very new to scrapbooking. Any chance you could explain how you did the snow around the picture? You mentioned Golden fiber paste but I have no idea what this is or how to use it. Is the snow on the tree Aleen Glitter Snow or the fiber paste?
So glad I was surfing the web and found this.

    1. After adherring the photo, I applied fiber paste around the photo using a palette knife. (Fiber paste is available at Micheals or Hobby Lobby) I let that dry and then applied the glitter snow around the photo, on the tree and on the flowers, with a stiff paint brush. I let the glitter snow dry a little but before it dried compleltely I used my heat gun which caused the glitter snow to puff just a little bit and gave it a more snowlike appearance, I also used a little white gesso here and there to finish it off.

Thanks for visiting my blog, hope I've answered your question!
