Here's to Friendship Flying Unicorn Challenge & Manor House Creations!

We always have lots of challenges going on at the Flying Unicorn and even better, we always have awesome RAKS randomly awarded to a lucky winner each month!    One of our May challenges is to create a project featuring friends.  We have friends in Colorado that we miss   so much, they really are our best friends.  When we get together, it often involves a bit of the bubbly and lots of laughter!!  If you follow Escape Kitty and Chena, this is  Chena's Uncle Willie!

We are also really excited to be teaming with Manor House Creations this month for our Flower Fantasy.  They have provided flowers for some of our RAKS.  We have special weekly challenges this month that are all about flowers.  Be sure to check those out because you could win some fabulous Manor House flowers!

I used these wonderful sunflower papers from Prima - Sun Kissed.  My flowers are a collection of handmade, Manor House (ledt top and center right) and some layered flat flowers.  I made the center left and top right using Spellbinders die Sunflower Set  # 2.  The centers are antique copper micro beads.  The bottom left flower I made using Alterations Tattered Floral die, the center is layered McGill sun punches.  The bottom right flower is a layered purchased flower with a micro bead center.

I painted the title chippy with Ranger dabbers.  First I randomly dabbed on espresso but not covering the entire chippy.  Then I added some snow cap but only in random places. I semi dried that and then misted with bronze glimmer mist and the final step was to randomly dab on gold.  I inked the edges with Distress Walnut Stain.

Thanks for visiting my blog!  I really appreciate your visit and your comments!
